Suspend fails after upgrading to 2.6.27-11

Bug Description

The computer fails to resume after being in the suspend state on 2.6.27-11.

It goes to suspend just fine, but the screen stays blank on resume. The computer has to be restarted by switching the power off and on again.

However, suspend works just fine on 2.6.27-9.

It is an Acer Extensa 5220 notebook, so suspend is important. What kind of further information should I provide?
