Bug Description

I've tried the the ubuntu intrepid live CD few months ago, but the network manager didn't find my wireless AP so I decided to use the LTS. Now I have a little time so I have installed it under windows and tried to find out what is the problem - with no succes.

It looks like it is working, but it can't discover my AP (it can see some others sometimes). I've set the mode to monitor to capture some packages and see what's happening. It captured packages broadcasted by my AP and I was able to monitor the communication between the AP and an other computer. It works the way it should, but in managed mode happens nothing.

iwscan: can see an other network, not mine.
dhclient: does nothing - no wireless AP to connect to...

lspci: 07:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection (rev 02)

I am using an up to date Ubuntu Intrepid. Everything works well in Hardy, worked well in older ubuntus too, works with WinVista. I haven't tried any other distros. The AP is: OvisLink Air Live WL-5460AP v2

I've googled over the net, many forums, but haven't found any similar to my problem.
