Bug Description

Apparently, some package maintainer assumes everybody is using grub to boot. So some post-installation script tries to /sbin/update-grub after installing the new kernel package. On systems that use LILO (e.g. Intrepid Ibex ... duh) this fails badly.

Quick workaround for users:

sudo ln -s /bin/true /sbin/update-grub

But - seriously. This bug has already been reported for earlier kernel versions. This needs to be fixed.
