2008-11-26 16:32:10 Ken Phillis Jr description I'll only report what i know is broken, and it's also worth noting that i don't have toshiba_acpi nor fnfx installed. status of keys in ubuntu 8.04 ( hardy ) FN+ESC - toggle mute - didn't test FN+F1 - lock screen - doesn't work. FN+F2 - no clue - no visable change. FN+F3 - suspend - didn't test. FN+F4 - hybernate - didn't test. FN+F5 - toggle internal/external monitor - didn't test. FN+F6 - decrease Brightness - worked. FN+F7 - increase Brightness - worked. FN+F8 - Toggle wifi - didn't work. FN+F9 - Toggle touchpad - didn't work. FN+Space - zoom desktop - didn't test. status of keys in ubuntu 8.10 ( intrepid ) FN+ESC - toggle mute - works FN+F1 - lock screen - doesn't work. FN+F2 - no clue - no visable change. Special function keys broken in transition from Ubuntu 8.04 to Ubuntu 8.10 Kernel version 2.6.24-21.3 had the special keys working.. FN + Esc- Mute Speakers FN + F1 - Lock screen ( keycode equivelent of SUPER+L ) FN + F2 - change PowerState ( not working/no visible change ) FN + F3 - Suspend - works FN + F4 - Hybernate - Works FN + F5 - toggle internal/external Video - not tested. FN + F6 - decrease brightness - works FN + F7 - Increase Brightness - works FN + F8 - Toggle Wireless - not working.
