Bug Description

I have installed 8.10, however before this, I tried 8.04 as well.
My problem is the version x64 freezes after some usage independently from the usage with low or high performance and the previous and the latest ubuntu version.

Hardware:
Asus T3-P5G965 Barebone
E6400 processor
4x1GB Corsair XMS2 Twin2x memory module
Asus x1300 video card
Western Digital Raptor 74GB

If I use only 2GB in any variation, I cannot reproduce freezing. Memtest86+ shows nothing error.
If I use 4GB in any variation, the symptoms is present.

My aim is with this issue, that please tell me what to do in ubuntu to find the source of the error. I hope there are some tricky methods to help me to catch the cause of the error which is very frustrating.

Thank you for your skills!

Best regards,
Andor Nagy

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it without more information.

Please include the following additional information, if you have not already done so (pay attention to lspci's additional options), as required by the Ubuntu Kernel Team:
1. Please include the output of the command "uname -a" in your next response. It should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel version you're running, as well as the CPU architecture.
2. Please run the command "dmesg > dmesg.log" after a fresh boot and attach the resulting file "dmesg.log" to this bug report.
3. Please run the command "sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log" and attach the resulting file "lspci-vvnn.log" to this bug report.
4. Please attach attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file after reproducing this issue.
5. Please attach attach your /var/log/dmesg.0.log file after reproducing this issue.

For your reference, the full description of procedures for kernel-related bug reports is available at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies Thanks in advance!
