Acer aspirone A110 card reader troubles

After suspending the acer aspirone A110 netbook, under ubuntu mobile, the cards readers become inactive and unusable until next reboot

Ubuntu intrepid (Developement branch) 8.10

wish the card reader will be still usable after resuming from suspend
not tested from hibernate

Care to confirm this issue exists in the latest pre-release of Jaunty 9.04 (currently Alpha3) - http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/jaunty/ ? You should be able to test suspend via a LiveCD. Please let us know your results. Thanks.

We'd like to figure out what's causing this bug for you, but we haven't heard back from you in a while. Could you please provide the requested information?

Also, since Jaunty is now released, if you didn't want to try with the alpha image, you could try with the full release. Both the regular desktop, and Ubuntu Netbook Remix releases can be downloaded by going to http://www.ubuntu.com.
