Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic
Upon upgrading to 2.6.27-7.12 my Intel Atom 330 based D945GCLF2 test box will no longer boot. It was always atleast a 50/50 chance that 2.6.27-7.11 and previous would boot. Attempting to see if i can add a good kernel to this report and preform a git bisect. Serial dump attached.

Attempted Kernel boot option: nosmp with no improvement.

Found Fix: Rebuilt linux's upstream 2.6.27 using the 2.6.27-7.12's config file. Had to uncheck "Paravirtualized guest support," to allow make-kpkg to work. Otherwise kernel boots/loads correctly.
Now just to find an easy way to git bisect Linux's tree vs's ubuntu's intrepid.. |
