2008-10-08 04:22:01 Vivian Stewart description Binary package hint: compiz this happens with both ATI and NVIDIA graphics cards and only started happening just recently. when I'm recording or playing back multitrack audio in ardour minimize, maximize, open, close of a window for instance will cause xruns. my realtime session in jackd has priority of 70-80 so....? my system has all the usually tweaks for realtime audio i.e the linux-rt kernel. this was fine what happened? 2008-10-09 08:59:17 Martin Pitt compiz: statusexplanation We need some further details. Which Ubuntu release are you using? You said it started "recently", what changed at this time? Are you using proposed updates? Did you recently change your graphics driver? Did you try this on multiple machines (since you mentioned both ATI and nvidia)? This is neither a compiz nor a jockey problem, might be a regression in the new kernel or a new nvidia driver.
