Bug Description

Even with the new kernel, my RTL8187 wireless card integrated into my ASUS P5k-e WiFi/AP motherboard still not works by default, even if people say this card is now fully supported by the new kernel. I'll switch to ndiswrapper for now.

What happens is that it asks me to connect, asks me the wep key, and everyting seems to be working, even if there is only 15% of connection strength, but when I try to open a web page or ping something, it doesn't work.

Agree, still problems with this driver. In my case, it is not possible to authentificate using WEP encryption, signal is also around 15% - also not correct.

I'm have same problem. Please add rtl8187 native support. I used ndiswrapper but there always happens connection interruption with my wifi and it's speed is too bad.
