I just loaded up the 8.10 live CD, and nothing gets detected. Just the two root hubs and the mouse.
I see p54usb and prism54usb loaded but no devices? I doubt I actually have to install 8.10 for things to detect.
So it seems it's regressed.
Anything else anyone want me to check? |

In https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/27422/comments/5, you mentioned that you were attaching output from several commands' invocations. I can't locate them here in the bug report, but of more use would be the same commands' output against the latest 9.04 alpha's desktop (live) image. |
