Bug Description

The ath5k driver causes suspend to fail on resume. If i modprobe -r ath5k before I suspend, and modprobe it back in after suspend all works great. Additionally I have attempted to add a script that does this to /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d. Despite the script being run, this does not seem to fix the issue. I named the script 01wireless so it would be done early on, but still the only way I have found to suspend is to manually do this myself.

There is no real useful debug output from the kernel logs. The last thing logged is the successful suspend, then the hard reboot I have to perform. Often times however it gets all the way to showing me my mouse and sometimes part of the login window before it hard locks. At this point I cannot even SSH into the machine.

Help!

Hi Jason,

Can you comment if this issue remains with the final release of Intrepid? Thanks.
