Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.27-3-generic

In 2.6.26 my Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1950 works fine, however in the new 2.6.27 series, after the device is plugged in and the module is loaded (including on boot) any attempt to enumerate USB devices as far as I can tell fails. The two symptoms I can see are lsusb hanging (ctrl-c and I believe kill -9 resistant), and the Bluetooth startup script hanging (and of course the device failing to work). I've installed the v4l-pvrusb2-73xxx-01.fw firmware that I got from extracting it from the Windows install disk in /lib/firmware. (Before installing that it did not cause a problem, the device just asked for the firmware then failed to work).
