Am getting similar errors:

In intrepid and Jaunty(beta) 

dvd burning is completely fine in Opensuse 11.1 - Debian Lenny and Arch Linux .

It is just Ubuntu that it fails (100% of the time) it is always at the end - during the cache

When I put the blank dvd in I get
