I have received the below error message during boot up for all Intrepid alpha releases thus far (1-6):
"Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 178568
 end_request: I/O error on device sr0, sector 1428544"
System just hangs at this point. I've switched hard drives (SATA) and burned the install image several times on both Linux and Windows. Also, alternate CD installation fails also at "Select and Install Software" modules. I'm stuck!

Hardy 8.04.1 won't boot past the language/splash screen either...I get kicked out into a busybox prompt.

I built this computer one month ago to make the switch from Windows to Ubuntu, but no luck so far.
