Intrepid: Alternative cd fails to detect network regression

SYMPTOMS: Network which has previously been detected flawlessly failed to be detected

CAUSE: Unknown

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1/ Burn an alternative iso to cd
2/ Install it

I'm attaching some of the files you've included in the install.2.tar.bz2 file. It's just easier for the developers to quickly look at these logs if each file is attached separately. Would you also be able to grab the dmesg output by chance? Thanks.

I've just double checked on a live cd and the network is up and running correctly.

It is only alternative that reports it is unable to find a network.
