Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and help to improve Ubuntu.
This all happens at the kernel level, whereas the wireless-tools package only contains the tools used for configuring wireless settings; so I'm reassigning this to the 'linux' package, since the kernel maintainers are likely going to have a better idea of what the issue is here. |
