Asus G1S laptop can't reboot normaly

Bug Description
I use Asus g1s laptop and kubuntu.
on 7.10 it rebooted normaly, but on 8.04 it goes to black screen and freezes with power led on. I have to hold power button to turn it off and turn on again.
what info can i attach to help to solve the problem?
P.S. sorry for my englesh, i am russian.
