error while booting up after computer shutdown [hardy 8.04]

Bug Description
after shutting down the computer when im trying to boot up again i get error messages after the grub and the screen with the loading bar until i press alt+ctrl+del then it resets and all is good
it only happens after shutdown reset goes fine
*see picture for the error messages
im using
hardy 8.04
amd athalon 3000
1 gb ddr
