My Medion MD96420 came with this DVB-T Tuner card, which doesn't seem to have any drivers either out of the box or from v4l-dbv. As far as I can tell, the remote control for it doesn't work either. Here are some specs:

Complete output from lspci -vvnn and lsusb -v, as well as dmesg output follows.
I was shipped a similar DVB device with a Dell laptop. I'm not too miffed if it doesn't work as I didn't ask for it but it seems that there is no firmware available for v4l-dvb.
The related Dell driver link is : http:// support. us.dell. com/support/ downloads/ download. aspx?c= us&l=en& s=gen&releaseid =R175809& formatcnt= 1&libid= 0&fileid= 239014
Somehow the firmware needs to be cut out of the file and provided in a v4l-dvb friendly format. I'm not sure how to do that or if it is possible at all.
