Hi Santana, thank you for submitting this and for helping to improve Ubuntu.

Looking back, was there a time when this wasn't an issue, and do you happen to remember the kernel version at that time? If so, we can try to identify the problem with a kernel bisect.

Unfortunately, this has been a problem since I downloaded Ubuntu about a week ago, so I don't know if there's a kernel version that works better.
