Just figured out that in Hardy 64 bit on a fresh install this MP3 player does mount properly. I can't use 64 bit at the moment for various reasons, but then I did reinstall (fresh) Hardy 32 and decided to test without updates like I did i 64 and the player failed to mount. Just wanted to add that difference.
