Bug Description

When trying to upgrade I get repeated error that says "A problem occurred during the update. This is usually some sort of network problem, please check your network connection and retry."

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Bug reporting is about finding & fixing problems thus preventing future users from hitting the same bug.

I suspect a Support site would be more appropriate, eg. https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu. You can also find help with your problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or https://ubuntuforums.org, or for more support options please look at https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community-support/709

( You've filed this is as a linux kernel bug for 22.04, and not a ubuntu-release-upgrader issue related to release-upgrading your system to a later release. If you wish to file a release-upgrade bug, you may do better to invalidate this report & file a new bug report using `ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader` )
