Perhaps it is related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-oem-6.8/+bug/2064595 at least before kernel update (I supposed) I was affected by this bug.

Should be a duplicate of that. It was fixed in upstream 6.8.5, Ubuntu's 6.8.0-35 is still on 6.8.3.

I observed this issue on *all* Debian-based distros I tried on my Lenovo T14 AMD Gen3 with a Lexar NQ790 NVME drive (IIRC that was Deb12, Ubuntu Jammy, Mint 21.3 and MXLinux)

This issue does not happen with the same distros using a Sabrent Rocket 1TB (PCIe 3.0) instead.

What is most surprising is that it does NOT occur using the Lexar NQ790 drive on Fedora 39 with any of the "stock" kernels. Maybe they apply a fix outside of the kernel and/or they applied a patch to fix the same issue as this?
