Bug Description

[Dell Inspiron 16 7610]

kernel 6.3 looks to be missing some port of the bug fix from 5.19 or got a regression

before and including kernel 5.15 there was a bug that after locking the screen and logging back audio via HDMI was disappearing. Later the bug was fixed and definitely not present in 5.19

However, this bug is present in 6.x kernels included in Lunar and Mantic as well as in 6.5.7-060507.202310102154

Currently I rolled back to 5.19 to confirm that this issue is fixed in this kernel.

Were you encountering the problem when the data was collected? I.e. did you lock and unlock and confirm audio is gone before collecting the data?

in 6.5.0 even after boot there was no sound. I tried to switch output from HMDI 1 to HDMI 2 and later to internal speakers. Only laptop speakers work fine, HDMI output does not work
