Bug Description

Xorg using up a CPU core almost all the time. That CPU core (thread/core 0) runs idle at 70+ degrees. This didn't happen before and is definitely a bug. I tried switching Nvidia PRIME profiles. (read some former issue online) But it didn't help.

Thanks for the bug report. Please try using 'top', 'xrestop' and 'nvidia-smi' to find out which process is triggering Xorg to use high CPU.

Dear Daniel / Beste Daniel,

top command shows: kworker/0:2+kacpid  is using around 80% of CPU
(core?) all the time.

I couldn't really find anything helpful with xrestop or nvidia-smi
commands. Maybe with a little bit more help/guidance.

I'm on a laptop by the way

This helped:
https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/588018/kworker-thread-kacpid-notify-kacpid-hogging-60-70-of-cpu

So I disabled gpe6F in my case. Finally a silent laptop.
