Bug Description

Hi,

I am use Asus Rog Strix g15 laptop (process Intel i7, navidia geforce GTX 1650 Ti graphics, 32GB Ram and 512 GB SSD). I am encountering screen Freezing issue from Ubuntu 22.04. But, I was able to run pop os successfully before (Now I am getting this issue from all linux distros). After fresh installation of Ubuntu, it is working fine. But, the next day, the system randomly hanged out and cut the internet connection first, then stop working keyboard and mouse. At this moment, I have no way to restart or power off except press the power key. During freezing the screenshot, if I type ctrl+alt+f3, I am getting the below error,

Pcie bus error severity=uncorrected (non-fatal) type=transaction layer (requester id)

For get rid of this error, I have checked several versions of kernel, but there was no hope! I was also taking help from navidia linux community. Accounting them, I used pcie_aspm=off parameter for kernel, but this moment I was getting another error in place Pcie bus error.

EXT4-fs error (device nme0n1p3) __ext4_find_entry 1658: inode#4204628: comm gmain: reading directory lblock 0

(Note: 29 Jan, 2023, I am getting a very weird solution. If I run update and update-grub after opening my computer, it works fine for this session. Hope, this point will help you to fix this bug.

4 Feb, 2023: Now update and update-grub not fix my issue.)
