ACPI errors following upgrade from 20.04 LTS to 22.04 LTS

After upgrading from Ubuntu 20.04, which has been running fine for the past two years, to Ubuntu 22.04, the system now takes approximately twice as long to boot and gives ACPI errors when booting as follows:

Also, during the upgrade, there were two errors, that popped up - not clear what they were, but I approved passing on the errors to developers. I am not sure if these were in any way related to this issue or not.

Additionally, Firefox will no longer open files as the "System Handler" when selected does nothing (i.e., no error, no messages, just reverts to the original state with no action). This has been reported to Mozilla, but may be an Ubuntu problem.
