Bug Description

Hello,

My wifi adapter is regularly crashing with the latest kernel. The workaround appears to be the same as outlined in: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=208425 which is setting the router to use 20MHz channel widths. This appears to be fixed in kernel 5.18.6 as described here: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215635#c18

However, Ubuntu 22.04 does not have kernel 5.18.6. This is occurring in linux-source-5.15.0-53.59.

Thank you,
Ted

Is this a regression, i.e., was this working stable with an older kernel? If so, which older kernel version?

It’s a regression. It worked in Linux-source-5.15.0-53.59. The issue appeared immediately on booting to the new kernel.

But in the bug description:

Huh?

And according to the attached dmesg you're not even running an Ubuntu kernel:

> BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-5.15.64-caticorn-22.11.16

Huh?

I’ll have to double check the versions then. The bug is occurring on a kernel built directly off of Linux-source. I can’t find the version of the previous instance since the unpacked source file has a different version than the number in Debian package.
