Bug Description

Hello,
I use Kubuntu 22.04 LTS on my Lenovo P14s (21A0-0000GE). After updating the Kernel to a version above 5.15.0-48, the system didn't start. I therefore used the old one (Version 5.15.0-48) from the recovery menu - the machine boots again.

I believe that this information is not enough to assess the problem. I see some error messages even when the machine boots correctly. Could anyone please tell me what I should try out or read out to get more information?

Many thanks,
Felix

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Libera.chat.

When booting the kernel 5.15.0-48, the messages just appear. When booting a newer kernel, these messages still can be seen but nothing happens afterwards.

The machine apparently seems to start fine in case it is undocked. (Don't know why I didn't try that out before.) My dockingstation is a Lenovo 40AS in case that matters.
