[radeon] lag in animations and some other bugs

Bug Description

This happened after I updated to the latest ubuntu software, from ubuntu 20.04. The animations are buggy, apps opens slowly sometimes and sometimes the command to open an app is given but the app open only after I log in again.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Thanks for the bug report. I can see radeon kernel debug messages in the log even though debugging doesn't seem to be enabled. This may indicate the bug is in the radeon kernel driver.
