The deployment is disaggregated so amphorae reside on the nodes different from the nodes with Octavia units themselves.
The packet captures seem to indicate delayed packets so the plan is to run additional tests from instances collocated with amphorae or running on different compute nodes to see if the underlying network could be a problem.
There were some prior tests done to assess the underlying network but they did not immediately point out an issue that is causing this.
Przemyslaw could not also reproduce it in his lab environment. I am attempting to do a reproducer as well while waiting for more test results from the actual environment.
