Bug Description
The system has a 2 port PCIe serial card which seems to be detected properly as setserial shows:
/dev/ttyS4, UART: 16850, Port: 0x30c0, IRQ: 19, Flags: low_latency
/dev/ttyS5, UART: 16850, Port: 0x30c8, IRQ: 19
There is no parallel hardware and the boot command line contains parport=0, yet dnesg shows:
[ 0.000000] Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=
[ 0.060062] Kernel command line: BOOT_IMAGE=
[ 16.467658] parport0: PC-style at 0x3100, irq 19 [PCSPP,TRISTATE]
[ 16.559777] lp0: using parport0 (interrupt-driven).
