This Item consists of 3 patches in total.
The following two upstream patches are provides as attachment 0001 and 0002:

1.) commit a87b0fd4f900 [s390/cpumf: Support for CPU Measurement Facility CSVN 7]
2.) commit 745f5d20e793 [s390/cpumf: Support for CPU Measurement Sampling Facility LS bit])

Patch number three:
3.) 'Defining the extended counter set counters'
cannot be sent upstream before the announcement date / the IBM document that contains the description of new IBM Z Hardware has been made publicly available.

I've noticed that the patches (at least 1 and 2) are also available from upstream directly, hence I cherry-picked them (which worked cleanly), rather than using the backports attached here.
