ubuntu suspends even if automatic suspend is disabled

Bug Description
Even if automatic suspend is disabled in "Power Saving" settings, my computer will suspend after minutes of inactivity if disconnected from power.
Other users are experiencing the same issue since 20.04 and apparently the only way out of this is to "systemctl mask suspend.target"
