Bug Description

kubuntu impish install (QA) on
-

New impish (daily) looks good on login. As part of testing the new system, I adjust displays to my configuration; which required changing right-display to portrait-left tilt. On performing that function I get

** Expected results

I expected the right-display to portrait-left tilt, and left-display to remain unchanged.

** Actual results

Right display did portrait-left tilt & is perfectly usable (what I'm using now). The left display however is now just a blocky mess that changes as I type, and slowly flashes (at the bottom of display).

Package is likely wrongly marked; likely radeon related (or whatever graphics exists in this box)

A subsequent reboot and the screen was as expected, the blocky-glitches on my-left-display were gone... System appeared normal and exactly as expected.

I also re-ran the install, this time into the other partition, and NO ISSUES occurred this time..

I can't see that I did anything different, as the displays are by default in the correct position, and all I change is the portrait-left tilt, which requires no guess work in KDE/Kubuntu as it's selected by picture and I hit apply.

Either WAY what I consider an identical install (same box, just different partition using the same daily ISO) and THE ISSUE DID NOT RE-OCCUR !
