Bug Description

My computer was working this morning, but when I powered it back on this afternoon the keyboard and mouse do not function.

I have a desktop pc, 3 monitors, encrypted boot drive.

dpkg showed that kernel 5.4.0-74 was installed on my computer this morning.

When I boot with kernel 5.4.0-74, my keyboard allows me to enter my decryption password, but my computer boots with one monitor active and the USB keyboard and USB mouse do not respond. (Using a different USB keyboard makes no difference. Unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in makes no difference.)

When I use GRUB to boot with kernel 5.4.0-73, my system works as expected (and all 3 monitors light up).

Still a problem in kernel 5.4.0-88. Please help soon as my computer is completely bricked on these newer kernels! I'm worried a future Ubuntu update will remove my kernel 73 and I won't be able to figure out how to revert to kernel 73 on my encrypted boot drive.

I'm guessing something corrupted my install. When I wiped everything and did a fresh install of 22.04 I don't have this problem, so it maybe some upgrade messed up some settings or something.
