Bug Description
A kernel update was rolled out to hirsute yesterday (12/5) to 5.11.0-17 from 5.11.0-16
After the update X would not start.
I could see from the logs the amdgpu kernel model was not loaded.
Reverting back to the 5.11.0-16 kernel worked as expected.
The amdgpu module is blacklisted by default and auto loaded in the boot process.
If I disable the black listing of the module and add it explicitly to /etc/modules-
Is there a regression in the 5.11.0-17 kernel that would cause this issue or another package missing from the update for example a newer linux-firmware?
I am running a recent graphics card so maybe that could be part of the issue: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
