See the attached GIF in comment #2. Screen image corruptions are found with 100% fail rate on TGL-U platforms running kernel >= v5.12-rc1 while 5.11.0-16-generic kernel from Hirsute has no such problem.

[Steps to reproduce]
Basically this should appear frequently whenever screen image updates. One might also take following steps to trigger it more easily:
