Hello,

Similar issue has been opened on bugzilla:

Whenever in doubt of skylake-hda_dsp configuration, please see:
Linux: HDA+DMIC with skylake driver
https://gist.github.com/crojewsk/4e6382bfb0dbfaaf60513174211f29cb

SND_SOC_INTEL_SKYLAKE_HDAUDIO_CODEC kconfig needs to be enabled for 'Skylake with HDAudio DSP + DMIC' configuration to work. Also, topology file is needed in /lib/firmware/. Linked gist should clarify these. If there's anything missing in the gist, please let me know so we can update the guide.

tplg binary can be compiled with the .conf file provided with that repo, it should enable SST driver at least.
