Exactly the same issue as #1853277, in Groovy (5.8.0-22-generic #23-Ubuntu) but was advised to report a new bug.

Please remove "i8042.nopnp=1 pci=nocrs" and see if it helps, thanks!

OK removed those from /etc/default/grub, ran update-grub, rebooted

Hi, we have two machines at the office with this issue and I don't have access to either of them. I think the patch landed in the upstream kernel v5.4.73. When can we expect the fix for Focal through the updates?
