Bug Description
Current snapcraft.yaml is broken for building kernel snaps with ubuntu kernel tree from a clean ubuntu environment.
Please see the patch in attached to fix the problem
This is effecting Ubuntu Core developers to build a custom kernel base on Ubuntu stable kernel.

This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. While running an Ubuntu kernel (not a mainline or third-party kernel) please enter the following command in a terminal window:
apport-collect 1891598
and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.
