Push desktop buton[shut down] OS Ubuntu shuting down,but after them,power of PC IS NOT shuting down.Monitor play welcome screen of ubuntu,fan still runing,may be hard drive still runing. Must push power buton of PC,to mashines turning off.

This I can still confirm even on hardy alpha-5. But it depends on your hardware configuration, my previous computer was "brandless" and on there ubuntu stops properly. My current one is a Dell AMD64 (with 32 bit ubuntu installed). If I press the shut down button I will see the (k)ubuntu logo, with a decreasing bar below it. When the bar is completely drained nothing happens and the logo remains on screen.

OS Ubuntu is shuting down,evrithing be saved.Only electrical power is not shuthing down.[monitor (play welcom screen);fan for power and fan for CPU runing; hard draive is a only rotating.

Beginning with the Hardy Heron 8.04 development cycle, all open Ubuntu kernel bugs need to be reported against the "linux" kernel package.
