Seems a duplicate of bug 1854798. Please try bionic kernel 4.15.0-73
from the proposed channel.

Following commands will install 4.15.0.73.75 kernel that is currently in -proposed channel:

  $ echo "deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ bionic-proposed main" | \
      sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/bionic-proposed.list
  $ sudo apt update
  $ sudo apt install linux-generic=4.15.0.73.75

Please rename that "bionic-proposed.list" file to "bionic-proposed.list_" when completed.

Or, if you still have a previous version installed, just boot to that version before 4.15.0.73.75 is released.

It is:

  $ sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list.d/bionic-proposed.list \
      /etc/apt/sources.list.d/bionic-proposed.list_

Or, if you prefer to remove it completely:

  $ sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/bionic-proposed.list

This is to prevent installing kernels in proposed channel accidentally in the future.
