After upgrading to Ubuntu 19.10 the boot hangs on HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF

After upgrading to Ubuntu 19.10 the boot hangs, I had to start the system with the previous kernel linux-modules-extra-5.0.0-31-generic

It seems to be a duplicate of bug 1845454.

I installed the test kernel build in bug 1845454 comment 11 and everything works.
