Bug Description

A few days ago I decided to test the upcoming 19.10 release. After rebooting, I faced a very early kernel panic. The whole disk is encrypted and I couldn't even reach the decryption phase where it asks for the password.

The kernel package is `linux-image-generic/eoan,now 5.3.0.10.11`

I am currently running 5.0.0-29-generic without problems. I don't have any versions installed in-between those two.

Following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelBoot I collected photos of the kernel booting. There is a little bit scrolled out, but it scrolls way too fast for me to capture even on video. Please let me know if I can provide any further information.

Can you please perform a kernel bisection?

I'm willing to try, but I honestly don't really know how to do that safely and in an orderly fashion. Is there a written guide I can use? Which versions should be tested? On the first look I don't see more versions in eoan. Am I supposed to compile them myself?

Is the issue still present if the all packages are up to date?
