New planned target kernel for eoan is 5.3.
Leaving as Incomplete for now - will be changed to Fix Committed once 5.3 arrived in eoan-proposed.

I quickly checked the kernel commit and it's incl. in Eoan's master-next tree that contains 5.3-rc8

workstation:~/ubuntu-eoan-master-next/ubuntu-eoan$ git log --oneline --grep "s390/cpumf: Add extended counter set definitions for model 8561 and 8562"
aabfea8 Merge tag 's390-5.3-2' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/s390/linux
820bace s390/cpumf: Add extended counter set definitions for model 8561 and 8562
workstation:~/ubuntu-eoan-master-next/ubuntu-eoan$ git describe --tags --contains 820bace

(the kernel based on that is also available from proposed:
 linux-generic | | eoan-proposed | s390x)

Hence changing this ticket to Fix Committed.

Kernel 5.3 finally landed in eoan's release pocket:
linux-generic | | eoan | s390x
hence setting kernel status entry to Fix Released - and with that also the project entry.

Changed in linux (Ubuntu):
status: Fix Committed → Fix Released
Changed in ubuntu-z-systems:
status: Fix Committed → Fix Released
