System booted ok, I see in the changelog

* kernel linux-image-4.15.0-44 not booting on Hyperv Server 2008R2
    (LP: #1814069)
    - hv/netvsc: fix handling of fallback to single queue mode
    - hv/netvsc: Fix NULL dereference at single queue mode fallback

I'm satisfied, anyone else test this?
