Bug Description

I have a Lenovo T580 for work.
It has a Intel® Core™ i7-8550U CPU, and runs integrated graphics.

When booting linux-image-4.15.0-44-generic kernel, and the machine is docked in the docking station, I can get as far as login. But after entering my password something goes wrong, and screen output is lost completely.
Also, logging on it through SSH and shutting it down, you can wait for ages, I have yet to see it actually turn off.

Booting linux-image-4.15.0-43-generic there are no issues.

I have a colleague who has a similar machine, but with nVidia graphics card and Pop!_OS booting in legacy mode. He does not have this issue with linux-image-4.15.0-44-generic.

The bug was created running on a linux-image-4.15.0-43-generic kernel, so added dmesg log saved over ssh after failing.
