@thorstenr-42: Very good to hear that it works for you since kernel 5.3! Could you tell us whether you have a certain configuration in the following files?

- /etc/default/grub (kernel parameters for psmouse?)
- /etc/modprobe.d/psmouse.conf
- /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf (i2c_801 blacklisted or not?)
- BIOS: trackpoint (de-)activated? Or something else that might be related?
