The way this is worded indicates only one .deb file was installed, which would be why it didn't show up in GRUB. Did you get a chance to review https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds for guidance?

>"but when I tried to compile the kernel..."

You would't have to compile kernels, as the .debs are compiled for you.

Battant, please advise to all of the following:

1) At this point, apport-collecting further isn't necessary.

2) Regarding your tests, you reported this while using the generic Ubuntu kernel, but you just tested the lowlatency mainline kernel. Were you at some point using lowlatency Ubuntu kernels in the past and having different results?

3) Regarding your Bug Description:
>"Since long time my [Clevo W253EUQ] Turn on bluetooth with Fn+F12 not working"

Did you personally use an older version of Ubuntu where this was working? If so, which precisely?

4) Does using the the following kernel boot parameters provide a WORKAROUND:
acpi_osi= acpi_backlight=legacy

So it's a regression between 12.04 (Linux v3.2) and 14.04 (Linux v3.13).

Can you find the first -rc Linux kernel between 3.2 and 3.13 that causes the regression in [1]?

Battant et all,

I believe the issue is from a commit that happened after the 4.13.xx kernel's ie 4.15 is affected. The bug affects Lenovo's for sure as that is what I have but others too.

More details here: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199271

Also to fix try a 4.13.xx kernel.
